Can I Use Household Scissors To Cut Hair?
No, you should never use general purpose scissors to cut hair. Scissor that are not designed to cut hair will cause split ends. General purpose scissors are not designed or sharp enough to cleanly cut the hair cuticle. Therefore, it leaves a jagged edge which creates a split end. The same can be said for hair scissor that are not sharpen when needed.
