Yasaka Scissors
Yasaka shears use the stainless steel special cutlery steel manufactured based on the raw material iron with high purity. The character of the iron is excellent in hardness, wear and abrasion resistance, and the resistance to corrosion. The scissor blades are sharpened by our unique method that is the first of its kind. Blades are hardened and then annealed in a complete vacuum, with the blades sharpened to a point in finishing the scissors. After vacuum annealing, sub-zero treatment is provided by our own special unique process.

PRECAUTIONS
If you want to use your Yasaka scissors for a long time:
DO NOT loosen the fulcrum screw more than necessary.
When the screw loosens, open the scissors, then close one scissor using only the weight of the scissors without applying any force.
The optimal gap between the hafts is approximately 5mm. Loosen the screw and adjust the gap when it is too wide and scissors feel heavy.
Handle the scissors with care when cutting hair.
The scissor blades may crack if scissors are dropped on the floor or tossed roughly onto a table.
Remove permanent wave solution, water or dirt after using the scissors.
Corrosion resulted from chemicals may greatly reduce scissor life.
The scissor life itself shortens and blade sharpening will become impossible if scissors with dull blades are used to cut hair. Sharpen the blades immediately when they become dull.
