Yasaka Shears

Yasaka Scissors are manufactured from “blade tool” stainless steel produced from Swedish Sponge Iron which has an extremely small amount of impurities. The resulting steel has, low impurity content, tenacity, viscosity, excellent resistance to wear and is fully rustproof.

The “clam shaped” blades are sharpened by Yasaka’s own unique method, which is the first of its kind. The scissors blades undergo a stringent manufacturing process where they are vacuum annealed twice and hardened to Rockwell (HRC) 60 hardness. They are then treated in sub zero temperatures by Yasaka’s special unique process.

A Yasaka scissor is the product of modern manufacturing processing combined with experience gained over 50 years.
